“Our fan base want streaming, downloads, specific programming, interviews and insight alongside the ability to listen back to what we produce at their leisure,” TeamRock CEO Billy Anderson said. “This new collaboration with 7digital will allow us to provide that service.”
The press release did not specify how big a role streaming would play in TeamRock’s upcoming plans. However, it did not that the radio show will continue and will be supplemented with specialized products for TeamRock’s fans and partners.
7digital has been shifting its business toward streaming in recent months. The company’s 2014 financials demonstrated a notable shift in revenue toward 7digital’s streaming products as interest in consumer-facing digital downloads declines.
