Rhapsody veteran to head Asia Pacific business

Rhapsody International has promoted Brian Ringer to a new role within the streaming music company. His new position is as executive vice president and general manager for Asia Pacific, and he’ll be responsible for strategic growth in the market. Ringer’s previous title was EVP of operations and chief technology officer, which he held since 2010.

“I am excited to be taking the role of EVP and GM for the Asia Pacific region,” Ringer said. “The amazing growth we are starting to see in Asia in both usage and variety of streaming music services is the perfect fit for our ‘Powered by Napster’ strategy and product and service offers.”
