iHeartMedia has released the nominee list for the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards. An unknown named Taylor Swift appears five times in the lists of nominees. This year marks the 13th annual exercise of these celebrations. FOX Entertainment co-sponsors. The live event, staged at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, will be streamed in the iHeartRadio app, and broadcast on iHeart’s radio stations. The awards reflect the most played artist and songs on those iHeartRadio stations in 2025. “This is an annual awards show made exclusively for fans,” says John Sykes, President of Entertainment Enterprises. We count 48 award categories this year; the entire category list and all nominees are seen HERE.
Podcasts before
If the new year is traditionally about looking forward, it carries a sentimental urge to look back in time as well. In the latest from Arielle Nissenblatt’s Podcast Plunge, we get an interesting list of podcasts about the 90s. It is created by the Podcast Brunch Club, a virtual group since 2017, populated by what Nissenblatt characterizes as “straight up podcast LOVERS.” The playlist contains a manageable five podcasts — to be clear: Not a podcast from the nineties, but a podcast about the nineties. Get it HERE.
Happy 10th
Podcast agency True Native Media is celebrating its 10-year anniversary. Founder and CEO (and RAIN interview participantHeather Osgood observes the moment with a celebratory post. “Ten years ago, I took a leap of faith on a belief that felt both simple and bold: that authentic host-read storytelling had the power to connect brands and audiences in a way nothing else could,” she reflects. “In retrospect, what strikes me most is the power of steady, intentional growth.” She also discusses the impressive breadth of advertisers that have supported the show.
