Audacy continues its focus on sports as a productive venue for advertisers. As with the previous release, “avidity” will be discussed as the most important currency in sports marketing. New pods

Apple has unleashed AirPods Max 2 into the marketplace. Retail cost is $549. Ordering begins March 25, and actual availability starts in early April. Five colors. Enhance noise cancellation via an H2 chip (same chip as previous models). The buds are loaded with “Intelligent Audio,” delivering adaptive audio, conversation awareness, and voice isolation. There is also real-time in-person translation of multiple languages (arguably the sexiest feature). Audio is 24-bit, 48kHz Lossless — but only when using a wired USB-C connection. There’s a camera remote for picture-taking via a wired USB-C connection. The battery works for 20 hours.
