This year iHeartPodcasts chose SXSW as the venue for its annual iHeartPodcast Awards. The event was sponsored by insurance company The Hartford.
Twenty-nine award categories were finalized, with New Heights, a sports podcast, winning Podcast of the Year. Podcast celebrity Charlemagne tha God presented the prize, and opened the show. A long list of luminaries participated onstage to bestow the prizes.
