The Infinite Dial, started in 1998 and produced annually by Edison Research, is an annual milestone in the measurement and understanding of digital media generally, with a sharp focus on online audio. It represents the longest-running survey of digital media consumer behavior in America.
It is America’s longest-running survey of digital media consumer behavior. Edison has been at it since 1998, releasing a raft of results publicly, and a more detailed version to business subscribers.
To produce this annual package of consumer intelligence, Edison conducts a nationwide U.S. survey, in a combination of telephone and online interviews with over 5,000 Americans 12 years and older. The survey is offered in English and Spanish. (Get the source document HERE.)
