According to the press release, Grooveshark Presents will promote local and regional artists first as a model for larger events. The first event is scheduled for Nov. 10 in Gainesville, Fla., and will showcase Autograf, Happy Accidents, and local act Bells & Robes. Surprisingly, Grooveshark made no mention of whether the events would be live streamed. It seems like a larger portion of the audience of 30 million listeners would want to participate in the fan-based events, but that doesn’t seem to be in the cards at this stage.
