7digital adds Playster to B2B client roster

B2B digital music provider 7digital has entered a deal with Playster, an all-in-one entertainment streaming service, to deliver its new music catalog. The announcement of the tie-up comes ahead of Playster’s unveiling of an overhauled streaming music product.

Playster’s business model is a bundle approach to entertainment. It offers movies, books, and games in addition to music. Members can pay a monthly fee for one of the services or a bundle all four at a discounted rate.

“Playster is a company that has the experience and depth of knowledge to really understand the digital music market,” 7digital CEO Simon Cole said. “It is a badge of honor to be working with them and we look forward to the exciting launch of the new product.”
