YouTube selects SiriusXM as exclusive audio ad rep

In a significant development, YouTube — the world’s most popular podcast platform — has selected SiriusXM Media as exclusive representative for its audio inventory in the U.S. The announcement must be categorized as landmark. Advertisers and agencies can now purchase audio ad impressions on YouTube — the most popular podcast platform — directly through SiriusXM’s sales platform. 

The technical arrangement is powered by AdsWizz, a SiriusXM subsidiary.

The arrangement begins in the fall of this year.
