Will Page is the latest Spotify exec to leave the company

Another longtime member of Spotify’s leadership is leaving the company. Will Page is planning to exit his post of chief economist for the streaming service later this summer. He has been with Spotify since 2012, and he has been a key figure in the business’ outreach efforts and policy plans. Music Business Worldwide reported that Page may have departed after receiving a book deal.

High-level executives and leadership leaving Spotify has been a common story over the past several months. Here are four of the other notable exits so far this year:

  • Brian Benedik, global head of revenue
  • Shane Tobin, head of partnerships for content and creator
  • Adam Parness, global head of publishing
  • Jonathan Prince, vice president, head of marketplace and content policy and vice president, global head of communications and public policy
