Spacial Audio brings its SAM Broadcaster Cloud to mobile

Spacial Audio has launched a mobile app for the users of its SAM Broadcaster Cloud. The company is an online radio specialist that was acquired by Triton Digital in 2009. The new app, available on iOS and Android, allows broadcasters to access the Spacial Audio platform to monitor and execute station operation tasks from a mobile device.

The SAM Broadcaster Cloud app has a full feature set that includes live streaming from any location, audio library management, file uploading, real-time updating and editing of programming queues, automated scheduling, and more. Station Managers can live stream from the app, and station DJs can get the same access for a fee.

“With station personnel increasingly on the go, the SAM Broadcaster Cloud mobile app makes it easy to manage and execute day-to-day operations from anywhere that they may be, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week”, said Mathew Coomber, customer service manager for Spacial Audio. “In addition, the mobile app saves stations time and money whilst making live broadcasting easier than ever before, as it removes the need for mobile news crews and large amounts of broadcast equipment when reporting live from events.”
