Podcast Business Summit attracts 450+ attendees to keystone event


Over 450 attendees flocked to New World Stages in Manhattan for the third annual RAIN Podcast Business Summit on Tuesday. Keynoted by Zack Reneau-Wedeen (Founder and Head of Product for Google Podcasts), and highlighted with appearances by Jarl Mohn (President and CEO, NPR) and Conal Byrne (President, iHeartRadio Network), the event brought podcast publishers and tech companies together with agency audio buyers in the world’s most dynamic market.

Other headline speakers included Joe Bihlmier (Vice President, Global Media, American Express), Larry Rosin (President, Edison Research), and James Cridland (Editor, Podnews.net).

Key topics of onstage discussion were podcast audience measurement, ad technology, different marketing opportunities available to advertisers, and podcast programming trends.
