Pandora has occasionally dabbled in video to complement its core audio feature. The latest project is a live-stream of a performance by Metallica. The band will be performing in Minneapolis on Aug. 20. The show is the inaugural rock performance for the city’s new U.S. Bank Stadium.
Fans can watch the stream in real time beginning at 10 p.m. EST on the 20th. It will also be available as a replay, and individual songs from the concert will be added to Pandora programming. In advance of the show, Metallica’s members have created a mixtape of favorite songs that is available now on the same channel that will have the livestream next weekend.
