Pandora has announced a rebrand, complete with a newly designed logo and slightly altered color palette. “As Pandora continues to evolve the most personal music experience, our new look embraces the dynamic range of sound and color, visualizing the energy and emotion that artists pour into the creation of music, and that we feel as listeners,” the online audio company said in a blog post.
Pandora has some big developments in the pipeline, so the revised appearance will likely be gracing these pages more frequently in the coming months. On the product side, the newly launched Pandora Plus is the company’s mid-tier subscription at $4.99 a month. It is a premium experience of the lean-back radio product. A full on-demand service in the vein of Spotify or Apple Music is still in the works. The company has also announced some personnel changes in the top ranks, including the hiring of new CMO Nick Bartle and the departure of Heidi Browning (senior vice president of strategy solutions).
