Oprah Winfrey is already a media mogul of the highest degree, and her latest project combines podcasts with her television roots. Her OWN television network is releasing The Oprah Winfrey Show The Podcast. The program will make all episodes from the talk show’s 25 years on air available in podcast form.
Ten episodes will be released on March 3, including the podcast versions of some of The Oprah Winfrey Show’s most-watched episodes. New episodes will be released weekly after that initial batch.
“As we head into a new decade, it’s a great time for fans of The Oprah Winfrey Show to revisit the joy, laughter and inspiration that kept us all tuning in daily for 25 years,” OWN president Tina Perry said. “The Oprah Winfrey Show The Podcast is the perfect opportunity to look back and reflect, take stock of how we’ve grown and to be reminded that we’re all in this together.”
