On the Move: Several C-suite shuffles

On the Move tracks hires, promotions, and other notable personnel changes within the online audio industry.

Lohan Presencer has stepped down as CEO of Ministry of Sound. After 17 years at the helm, Presencer is transitioning to Chairman of the Ministry of Sound Group. His old CEO duties will be taken over by Jonathan Bevan, who was previously Clear Channel’s President of Europe and Australia/NZ. Ministry of Sound sold off its record company to Sony earlier this year.

Paul Pacifico is the new CEO for the UK’s Association of Independent Music. His appointment fills the vacancy left by Alison Wenham, who is leaving the organization to serve as CEO for the Worldwide Independent Network. Pacifico joins after being the CEO of the Featured Artists Coalition, a role he held since January 2015.

BPI has appointed MJ Olaore as its new chief operating officer. She will assume the newly created position starting Nov. 1. Olaore most recently served as COO for market research agency Firefish. “I am delighted to be joining the BPI at such an exciting and interesting time for the organisation and the recorded music industry that it serves,” she said.
