New Deezer playlist collects podcasts “In Progress”

Deezer has added a new quality of life feature for podcast listeners. The platform is rolling out an In Progress playlist, which automatically collects podcast epsiodes that a listener hasn’t finished. It will include any unfinished episodes that are 15 days old or less. Podcasts will appear with the most recently played at the top, but users can choose to manually reorder them. The feature is accessible from the Favorites tab on the web or in the iOS app, and is available to both free and paid listeners.

“If you’re like me, you turn to podcasts for a little bit of everything,” Deezer VP of Content & Productions Frédéric Antelme said. “We have a wide range of topics for our listeners. Whether you’re into comedy, wellness, crime, news, or all of the above – it’s natural to jump around between topics and categories. But it can quickly become too much and you forget which episodes you may have started. The ‘In Progress’ podcast feature is for those of us that don’t want to miss any of the episodes of our favourite audio shows.”
