Megaphone is expanding into Europe. The U.S.-based company announced that its launch across the Atlantic begins today, with its full suite of audio publishing and ad management tools available immediately to European podcasters, radio networks, and news organizations.
Megaphone will center its European sales operations in Germany. The new office there will be led by Joseph Sasso, Megaphone’s director of European business development, who brings more than a decade of sales experience in the region.
“European podcasting is exploding with creative energy,” Megaphone CEO Brendan Monaghan said. “We want to help turn that energy into successful and sustainable businesses across Europe.”
“The founders of Megaphone have been working in podcasting since 2005,” said Matt Turck, the company’s chief revenue officer. “We can help podcasters anticipate and avoid the challenges of podcasting at scale because we’ve faced all of those challengers before.”
