iHeartRadio joins the audio apps on Xbox One

iheartradio canvasWe’ve seen a trend of streaming audio platforms finding new ways to expand into the living room. The latest push comes from iHeartRadio, which announced that it has launched apps on the Xbox One. The latest video game console from Microsoft brings voice controls to the audio service thanks to the Kinect. iHeartRadio can also be used in the Snap view, which lets users have multiple programs running at once, so you can listen to your own music while playing a game.

iHeartRadio has already announced integrations with other living room technology including the Xbox 360, Android TV, Roku, Sonos, and Amazon Echo. Pandora, Vevo, YouTube, and Xbox Music also have apps on the Xbox One.
