Global and DAX awarded JICWEBS Brand Safety and Anti Fraud certification for programmatic audio

UK media company Global and its programmatic advertising platform DAX received two certifications from UK-based JICWEBS, an oversight organization focused on developing standards for digital advertising.

The specific Global and DAX certifications are for Brand Safety, and absence of Ad Fraud.

Brand Safety is about reducing what JICWEBS calls the “misplacement of advertising across the digital trading ecosystem.” Standards around this boil down to a set of principles developed by the Digital Trading Standards Group, which was established in 2012.

The certification related to Ad Fraud is bestowed on the basis of two sets pf principles: Good Practice Principles, which verify the processes of digital ad trading, and the JICWEBS UK Traffic Taxonomy which identifies 16 types of fraud which the certified company demonstrably eliminates.
