Entercom adopts Headliner social video app

Social video creation app Headliner announces today that it has partnered with Entercom, the second-largest commercial radio group in the U.S. It is an enterprise-wide agreement that enables all Entercom  stations to build videos which promote their on-demand audio.

Headliner specializes in easy-to-create, social-ready videos featuring on-demand audio. These videos can be planted directly in Facebook, Twitter, and innumerable other environments. Headliner is popular with podcasters, and has scaled up from a hidden gem to a recognized promotional application for marketing audio programs. Headliner is used by Wondery, Townsquare Media, Radiotopia, Omny Studio, Cumulus, the BBC, and many other enterprises. We have seen Headliner videos from WTF with Marc Maron, The Axe Files, and other shows.

“Video has become a medium that all audio producers need to take advantage of to drive discovery and engagement,” said Corey Podolsky, Vice President of Business Development at Entercom. “We are pleased to offer our content creators Headliner’s user-friendly and integrated setup within our workflow. Our teams will be able to increase video output from our premium live and on-demand content offerings.”

“We are thrilled to have a media giant like Entercom, one of the largest audio companies in the U.S., as a long-term partner,” said Neil Mody, CEO of Headliner. “With social media users approaching 3 billion worldwide, all content creators need to think about how to best tap into that audience. Add the ability to monetize audio assets with video CPMs, Headliner has become a growth mechanism for all audio companies both in terms of revenues and users.”

    1. Good news. I think that in some sense there will be a breakthrough in social networks. Search for video queries has long been relevant, only no one has yet made a good application for this. Did you know that, users of the photo service in the United States have already had the opportunity to use stickers for donations. To place a sticker in “Stories”, you need to take a photo, choose a non-profit organization from the list and place the sticker on the picture. 100% of the collected money will go to the organization. The social network will also receive an updated camera mode for creating snapshots and videos. It will simplify the use of effects and stickers, promised in Instagram. I will wait for these updates, because this is a new way in marketing. Good luck!
