Disney Music Group has made its debut into podcasting. The music arm of the entertainment giant is releasing a podcast called For Scores. The interview show will feature conversations with the people soundtracking movies, television, and games. Journalist Jon Burlingame hosts the program, which is produced by Disney Music’s Maria Kleinman along with Treefort Media.
For Scores is following an unusual release schedule. The show will release four episodes at a time, with the first ones airing on August 23 to coincide with Disney’s D23 Expo. The next quartet of episodes will be released in October, followed by another set in early 2020.
The first four episodes feature Henry Jackman of Wreck-It Ralph and Big Hero 6, Harry Gregson-Williams of Penguins and live-action Mulan, Pinar Toprak of Captain Marvel and Alan Silvestri of the four Avengers movies.
