Deezer hires new chief commercial officer

Deezer announced that it has appointed Laurence Miall – d’Août as its new chief commercial officer. In this executive post, she will head up the company’s B2B activities internationally, including partnerships, business development, and advertising sales. She joins Deezer on April 2, bringing more than two decades of experience to the streaming service. Her most recent job was at cable company Liberty Global as vice president of advanced data and advertising.

“I have been a Deezer user for the last 4 years and love the product,” she said of her new post. “It’s a great time to join the company. Music streaming is already the most popular way to consume music and this is only going to continue to grow. We have lots of opportunities ahead of us and I look forward to being part of that journey together with the rest of Deezer’s team.”
