Big Machine Label Group launches its own streaming media platform

Big Machine TVBig Machine Label Group has unveiled details about Big Machine TV, a full-featured media platform that will host videos, live streams, and other music content. According to the press release announcing the launch, Big Machine is one of the first labels to launch its own streaming platform. Big Machine TV is available now worldwide for laptops, mobile web, and as an Android and Apple mobile app.

PublicVine, a cloud-based software company, is the technology partner for this new product and will power the branded streaming media platform. The company bills its work as platform-as-a-service. Its systems will help connect fans with content from Big Machine’s artist roster, which includes Taylor Swift, Reba, and Rascal Flatts.

“It’s important for us at Big Machine to super-serve our fans and PublicVine’s technology allows us to get our artist content to the fans faster, no matter which device they use,” Big Machine Label Group President and CEO Scott Borchetta said.
