Audioburst secures partnership and investment from Nippon Broadcasting System

Audioburst announced a new investment that will see it making moves into Japan. The company specializes in analyzing spoken word content through AI and natural language processing. It began as on-demand audio discovery platform and has recently expanded into AI-based voice search.

The latter is what caught the attention of the Nippon Broadcasting System, which has entered a joint partnership with Audioburst to support and create new voice technology products based on Audioburst’s capabilities. Their work will focus on products for the Japanese market. Under this expanded deal, Nippon Broadcasting System has invested $3 million in Audioburst’s most recent funding round. Audioburst’s total funding is now $14.4 million.
