Wondery founder Hernan Lopez announced that Apple TV+ is set to produce We Crashed, an adaptation of Wondery’s podcast WeCrashed: The Rise and Fall of WeWork.
The limited run series will star Jared Leto and Anne Hathaway. It will be produced by Apple Studios.
“Wondery has 19 shows in development for television,” Lopez noted. “And now 5 ordered to series!”
The two stars will also serve as Executive Producers, and Lopez will also according to Deadline.
In December Wondery was acquired by Amazon to be bundled into Amazon Music. Lopez, founder and CEO of Wondery, will exit his executive position when the acquisition closes (date unknown to the public).
