Apple Music gets German telecom deal

Apple Music black canvasApple Music has entered an arrangement with Deutsche Telekom. Thanks to this deal, the German telecom is now advertising that its customers can have six months of free access to the streaming music service. The ad clip was directed by Simon Verhoeven and stars Mats Hummels, a player with the Bayern Munich football club.

This arrangement is similar to the telecom deal Apple Music inked with EE in the UK earlier this year. That deal also offered six months of free streaming to new or upgrading customers, and it was also accompanied by a star-studded ad. That spot featured Kevin Bacon and Britney Spears.
