Apple Music adds real-time lyrics to mobile app

Apple Music now offers real-time lyrics to its listeners on mobile. With the iOS 13 update, Apple has added an option to display the words to a song in real time. The lyrics display can also be used as a navigation tool, where tapping on a line of the song will begin playing that part of a track. The feature has rolled out to all Apple Music users on iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. It will roll out later to Apple Music on Android and for the streaming service’s Apple TV app.

Even after several years on the market, Apple Music is still trying out new developments for its platform. Earlier this month, Apple started beta testing a web version of the service, and it debuted a discovery playlist inspired by the Shazam audio identification app in August.
