Apple hires digital veteran as head of music in Australia

Apple has hired Rebekah Horne as its new head of music and other services for Australia and New Zealand. In this capacity, she will guide services including Apple Music, iTunes, and the App Store for those markets. Horne’s past experience includes work with MySpace, where she was the social network’s first Australian employee and rose through the ranks to be a managing director and senior vice president. She has also worked in digital leadership roles at Ten and most recently with the National Rugby League.

Apple recently posted its Q4 financials, which included a record high revenue of $10 billion for its services division.
