Amazon Music has hired Andre Stapleton as its new head of U.S. label relations. In this position, he’ll be responsible for directing label relations account activity. Stapleton joins the company from Sony Music, where he worked for 12 years. He will report to Director of Amazon Music Ryan Redington.
In addition to this new role, Amazon Music is looking for a head of digital music in Brazil. The South American country is one of the next places Amazon is looking to launch and develop its music platform, with its Alexa voice technology and Echo smart speaker line potentially to follow.
