AdsWizz hires European programmatic executive

pierre naggar 300x300Ad-tech company AdsWizz announced today the hire of Pierre Naggar as VP, Programmatic Demand in Europe. Naggar will report to AdsWizz President of Europe Gary Goodman, and will lead the company’s efforts to connect European audio publishers with advertiser demand on automated software platforms. Part of Naggar’s role will be developing relationships with agency trading desks and demand-side platforms.

Pierre Naggar moves to AdsWizz from Turn, a London company whose technology enables audience planning, media execution, and real-time analytics. Naggar was managing Director there for four years, and grew that operation from the ground up, according to today’s announcement. Previous to Turn, Naggar had stints at Yahoo! Europe and 24/7 Realmedia.

“Digital audio is a natural evolution of this programmatic marketplace,” said Gary Goodman. “I am delighted that Pierre can bring this knowledge and experience to both AdsWizz and the digital audio industry as a whole.”

In February, AdsWizz signed a partnership agreement with data management platform (DMP) Lotame to develop targetable audience segments in AdsWizz’s advertising platform, called AdWave. Data-driven audience intelligence is a key value of programmatic advertising. In march, Apple put its iTunes Radio inventory into AdWave.
