Webcast listening in November dropped slightly from the previous month, but still showed a 12% year-to-date increase during 2015, according to Triton Digital’s Webcast Metrics Top 20 Ranker, released today.
Mobile listening delivered three-quarters of webcast listening for November, in a 75/25 split with computer desktop streaming.
The three webcast leaders — Pandora, Spotify, and iHeartMedia — showed stable engagement from October, each rising or falling by one percent. As always, RAIN’s view of the Ranker uses Triton’s AAS metric (Average Active Sessions), Mon-Sun from 6:00am to midnight.
As in the previous three months, AccuRadio was the year-over-year gainer in listening, rising 31% above November of last year. In the year-to-date numbers (Jan-Nov, 2015), AccuRadio registered a strong 34% rise, second to 42% for Spotify, which joined the Top-20 Ranker in January, 2015.
