TuneCore artists reach collective revenue of $1 billion

TuneCore announced that its artists have collectively earned more than $1 billion in collective revenue from downloads and streaming. The company offers artist services and music publishing administration, helping to collect the royalties from digital platforms including iTunes, Amazon, and Spotify. TuneCore is recognizing the milestone with a campaign called the Billion Dollar Club. In addition to some social promotion, the company is hosting a Spotify playlist with a regularly changing list of songs by its clients. Artists can choose the song they want to highlight and share it to Instagram with the campaign hashtag in order to participate.

During 2016, TuneCore embarked on a steady path of expansion. It added operations in Italy, France, and Germany.
