Pandora is projected to gain overall digital ad share, but it’s still going to hold less than 1 percent of the market. For the digital space, Pandora is expected to increase from 0.34 share in 2012 to hit 0.52 percent this year. While small growth is expected overall, Pandora is likely to lose ground in mobile ad share.

Yahoo jumps into live concert streaming

Yahoo has partnered with Live Nation in an agreement to co-distribute live-streamed concerts at a blistering pace -- one concert a day (or night) "for several years." Yahoo's main competitive focus in this venture is Google, the leader in video content. Yahoo and Live Nation will funnel users to the the real-time concert stream, only highlights of which will be available later.
