BRS Media petitions for review of dot-RADIO decision

The long-awaited dot-RADIO domain (e.g. BrandName.radio) is a step closer to becoming reality, but not without a new chapter in a controversy which started last October. Today, BRS Media, which administers the purchase of dot-FM and dot-AM domains, will announce it has filed a Reconsideration Request to ICANN against its preliminary choice for administrator — the European Broadcast Union (EBU). BRS Media extends dot-FM registration with Asian registrar partnerships

BRS Media, the administrator of dot-FM domains (e.g. www.RadioStation.fm), announced new partnerships with three Asian domain registrars. The licensing of administration rights enables the partners to register new dot-FM domain ownerships, and extends the BRS Media footprint to regions where demand for the dot-FM handle is reportedly on the rise.
