Spreaker has entered into a partnership with Radioline for podcast distribution in Europe. France-based Radioline lists more than 25,000 radio stations and 10,000 podcasts, making it a top European distributor. The addition of Spreaker’s lineup to will more than triple its podcast listings.
“Partnering with Radioline is a great opportunity for Spreaker to enable podcasters using our platform to reach a French audience,” said Juliette Bouquerel, Spreaker’s vice president of business development. Podcasts are on the rise in France, with 800,000 podcasts downloaded every day, according to research firm Médiamétrie.
Spreaker recently released its Spreaker Studio software for podcast production onto Windows and Mac platforms after an initial launch on iOS. The company brought on Rob Greenlee as its head of content earlier this year; Greenlee was also part of a conversation about the state of podcasting at this fall’s RAIN Summit Atlanta.
