The mobile app for boutique television network Starz has integrated Spotify into the platform. This deal allows Starz app subscribers to access Spotify music from its TV shows and movies. Listening to full tracks will require a Spotify Premium account, although freemium listeners can still hear 30-second clips within the Starz app. All users can save and follow Spotify playlists from inside the app. An individual’s listening habits will also be used as the basis for Starz video recommendations.
