Spotify for Artists launches iOS app

Spotify has launched a mobile app for its artist service branch. Spotify for Artists now has an iOS app available from the App Store. A version for Android is due to release “really soon,” according to the blog post announcing the app. The software allows performers to update profiles, track new releases in real time, and access listener data from their phones.

The artist service division launched out of beta in April of this year. Any performer can sign up to use the dashboard.

Spotify has been making gradual moves towards going public over the course of this year. The streaming platform is reportedly now valued at $16 billion.
