Quick Hits: Video of the radio; Google DMCA takedowns; an Uptown Funk-y 2015

Brief news items and worthy reads from around the web:

Video of radio? A Milwaukee Low Power FM radio station is video taping everything that happens in the booth and makes it available as a live stream. The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel has a profile of the local radio effort, while Radio Survivor collected some of the more entertaining video clips.

Google saw 558M+ takedowns last year: Google received more than 558 million takedown requests under the Digital Millenium Copyright Act, according to an accounting of weekly reports by TorrentFreak. That staggering number is actually a 60% increase in allegedly infringing links compared with last year.

Uptown Funk won 2015: The Official Charts Company has determined that “Uptown Funk” by Mark Ronson and featuring Bruno Mars was the top song of 2015. The song secured the top spot thanks to 1.76 million in combined sales and streams. OMI’s “Cheerleader” ranked as No. 2 and Hozier’s “Take Me To Church” placed third.
