Podtrac has released its August rankings of podcasts. The list covers publishers using Podtrac’s service to measure program consumption. NPR tops the list for a fifth straight month, and the remainder of the top 10 publishers was also unchanged from July. Each of the ten saw an increase in audience numbers, although total global and unique streams and downloads across those publishers dropped 2% from the previous month to 183.43 million.
