Podtrac has published its ranking of the top podcasts in October 2017, a month with an unusual amount of shuffling among the most popular shows. Three podcasts joined the list for the first time: Trending Songs: Pop from iHeartMedia at No. 9, Radiolab Presents: More Perfect from WNYC at No. 14, and Dirty John from Wondery at No. 16. The new additions edged out PRX’s TEDTalks and two shows credited to PRX/Radiotopia, 99% Invisible and The Moth.
The rest of the ranking included the same shows as in September, just in different positions. However, This American Life continues to sit at the top of the chart for another month.
