PodcastOne has hired Dana Senit, formerly with TargetSpot, as its new Sales Manager, Western Region. Senit was with TargetSpot for nearly seven years, as a sales VP in the western region.
Senit has a 20-year career in sales and account management. Before TargetSpot she worked at XM Satellite Radio (now SiriusXM) for three years. preceded by a stint at Carat Media Services as National Radio Supervisor. For six years in the late 1990s Senit was Senior Media Buyer for Focus Media.
In her new role, Senit will work with local and national advertisers in the west. The mission is to develop “personality-driven strategies,” according to the announcement, which is a key attribute of marketing in podcasts.
PodcastOne President Kit Gray noted, “Podcasting is busting loose. Dana has recognized it, and we are excited to welcome her to the PodcastOne family.”
