Acast has hired Chris Wistow as its new global head of audio product and partner sales. Wistow joins the podcasting company from AdsWizz, where he was the UK and Ireland Country Head. He has nearly a decade of professional experience in digital advertising for streaming audio, including stints with Last.fm and CBS Interactive.
Acast made a splash in October with the announcement of plans to go public on the Stockholm Stock Exchange. CEO Måns Ulvestam and Chief Strategy Officer Karl Rosander stepped down from their operational roles with that development and Ross Adams, previously the chief revenue officer, took on the role of CEO.
