iHeartRadio announces Xbox, Samsung updates

iheartradio canvasiHeartRadio shared two announcements about where to tune in to its lean-back digital audio service. First, Microsoft’s Xbox One game console is now part of the Universal Windows Platform. That means iHeartRadio’s Xbox One app will share the same design as its other Windows 10 apps for mobile and desktop. The Xbox One app also now supports iHeart’s personalized My Favorites Radio station.

The second announcement is centered on programming for children. The iHeartRadio Family app is now available on Samsung Kids. The Samsung product is a subscription service that is intended to be easy for kids to use. Child-friendly programming from iHeartRadio Family, such as the Radio Disney Junior and Kids Pop Radio stations, is now part of that service. The Samsung Kids app is available for certain phones and tablets from the Google Play and Galaxy Apps stores.
