Guvera is now available in both Russia and Ukraine. The streaming service has pushed for expansion in the past year, currently reaching a total of 16 countries. Most recently, it announced a foothold in India.
The service’s expansions are powered by Omnifone, a B2B cloud music platform provider. Omnifone CEO Jeff Hughes spoke positively about Guvera’s outlook. “We believe it will be one of the winners in the digital music space and we are proud to be powering its service in so many countries,” he said.
Guvera first launched in 2010 as a download platform, but it pivoted to streaming over the past year.
