Facebook reportedly hires away another Warner exec

Facebook is reportedly pulling yet another exec away from the major labels. Perry Bashkoff is the SVP of global content and revenue development at Warner Music Group. Music Business Worldwide is reporting that Bashkoff will be joining the social media network next year.

Facebook has been pulling talent away from several other top music and tech companies over the course of 2017. Tamara Hrivnak was at WMG before joining Google; she was hired to lead Facebook’s global music strategy in January. The social media network launched the Facebook Sound Collection earlier this week, a set of audio tracks that creators can use to soundtrack their videos.
