CD Baby announced the launch of its Pro tier in the UK. The Pro service includes publishing administration for collecting royalties. The company already has more than 35,000 artists using its distribution service in the UK. “The UK represents one of our most vital member bases, and the launch of Pro means writers based there finally have a one-stop, simple solution for global music distribution and collection of all of the publishing royalties their music earns,” said Rob Filomena, the company’s director of music publishing.
CD Baby Pro has posted 250% growth in the U.S. since its launch there. The company has also inked a partnership with Loudr for increased options in mechanical licensing services.
