Blubrry inks B2B deal bringing licensed music to clients

Podcasting company and RawVoice subsidiary Blubrry announced a deal with SourceAudio, a B2B music licensing specialist, that will allow podcasters to use music in their shows. Blubrry’s customers will have access to the library of licensed music for their podcasts at a discount. Access to songs is available as a monthly subscription or as a single-track purchase, granting unlimited use of each purchase in that podcast.

“We are incredibly excited about partnering with Blubrry. Blubrry’s reputation in the podcast hosting community is unmatched,” said Douglas Reed, SourceAudio’s EVP of radio and library services. “We look forward to working with them to provide a terrific and much-needed service to podcasters big and small.”

“Finding legal music available for podcasts has always been challenging, leaving few suitable and desirable options for creators,” Blubrry CEO Todd Cochrane said. “This new offering will improve tenfold the availability of legal music for podcast producers.”
