The BBC’s iPlayer Radio app is now available for the first time outside the UK. The mobile app is now available in Ireland in what the broadcaster has called the “first stage of a global rollout.” It has not said what other countries will receive access to the mobile option.
The iPlayer Radio app is a free program for iOS, Android, and Amazon Fire devices. It offers access to all of the BBC’s radio stations as live broadcasts and on-demand replays for 30 days after airing. It also has podcasts that can be saved for offline listening.
