audioBoom posts nearly £1.5M in Q3 revenue

audioBoom posted its third-quarter results, and the on-demand audio platform’s revenue reached £1.49 million, an increase of 329% over the same period in 2016. Compared with the the second quarter of 2017, revenue was up 32% and monthly unique users increased 11% to 90 million. Available advertising impressions, a key metric for future revenue potential, grew 24% from the second quarter to 602 million.

The year has been highly active for audioBoom in business developments. It announced two waves of original podcast programming and several partnerships with other content creators and audio companies. Lauren McCain also joined audioBoom as the new senior sales director.
